Please note, before making any changes to the exterior appearance of your home such as painting, fence installation, design modifications, removal of trees, or major landscape improvements, you must submit a request in writing to Access Management Group and/or the property association's Architectural Committee chair for approval.
The failure to do so could result in fines to your account or removal of unapproved amendments to your property.
If you have any questions, please contact our association manager, Brad Thisdale, at Access Management Group by calling 770-777-6890, Ext. 140.
Additionally, property owners also must not begin any modifications or improvements to their home or property without first obtaining the correct permits from Gwinnett County and/or any other applicable government agencies.
River Plantation is located in the Chattahoochee River Corridor. As such, homeowners must contact Gwinnett County’s Department of Planning and Development prior to removing trees from their property - in addition to River Plantation Architectural Committee Chair Andrew Binosa.
Be aware that the county's requirements and guidelines supersede any set forth by the neighborhood's covenants.
Because the vast majority of the River Plantation subdivision is in the corridor there are more restrictive requirements with regard to tree removal - including what kinds and sizes of trees can or cannot be cut down.
Removing trees without a permit can lead to fines if a homeowner is found to be in violation of the county's ordinances.
If you are planning on having any trees removed from you property, please contact both Gwinnett County and Andrew Binosa.
